For Mhem

"Along with the theme of August, This brand is commemorated to Mhem. Mhem is my God Father who unfortunately passed away due to heart complications. He was the life of the party and the person who always provides safety and comfort. This brand is to commemorate him and live on his legacy. Ninong Mhem and I have both have a common bond with both having our birthdays in August. Hence the name, Good Morning August."-Ez

Inspiration

The 90's-2000's were the golden eras. Best music, best tv, movies, fashion. Time has passed but has not been forgotten. We find inspiration from this era and want to bring all the nostalgia back. This video was shot on a 2007, DCR-SR42 Sony camcorder.

FLIP

If you seen our brand then you've probably seen our mascot Flip. Flip is a carabao with a straw hat. Good Morning August is Toronto Based but Filipino owned. Flip pays tribute and represents the 700+ islands.

Why You should Support

Besides all the nostalgia and street culture, Good Morning August commemorates Mhem by donating 5% of profits to the heart and stroke foundation.  

What Does the Logo Mean?

The logo is another commemoration to Mhem. The Roman numeral eight or VIll was apart of his tattoo on his forearm. The eight stood for the eighth month in the year, August which as previously mentioned, was the month of his birthday.
